Missouri's 44th House District

Open Seat. Since 2000, the 44th State House District has been ably represented by Jenee Lowe, a committed progressive Democrat. Due to term limits, Rep. Lowe will leave office in 2008. Jason Kander plans to build upon Rep. Lowe's solid, progressive record.

Election. The primary election is August 5, 2008.

Boundaries. The 44th District includes Brookside, Waldo, the Ward Parkway Corridor, and a portion of Hickman Mills. The western boundary is State Line Road. The northern boundary runs east along Brush Creek (just south of the Plaza) to Wornall Road. East of Wornall, the northern boundary of the district is Meyer Blvd. The eastern boundary travels along Troost until 79th St. South of 79th, the eastern boundary is Hickman Mills. The southern boundary runs west from Hickman Mills to State Line along 95th, 90th, and 85th.

Our Supporters. The majority of our campaign's supporters are right here in the 44th District. They're not lobbyists or special interests, but voters. I am in favor of transparency in campaigns. That's why I've linked to our Missouri Ethics Quarterly Reports and their listings of campaign contributors.
